I will be arriving in Sydney in 2 weeks and will be doing sightseeing and travelling up and down the coast as i have a 1 year visa. There are some big spots i will want to set up shop and work for a bit and then others i wouldn't mind just passing through for a couple days.

I'm in a similar position to you! I'm in Oz for a year with friends but they've become homesick and are heading home in March. And I'm currently living in Perth!
I'm here on a working holiday visa until August and so am interested in continueing to combine work and travel. I'm hoping to take my last two months off to travel down the east coast. But not really sure what I'm going to do until then.
I'm a 28yr old Scot who is friendly and sociable so it would be good to hear from you!
