Backpacking Malaysia...

So, now i'm booked, off round asia travelling for 6+ months.

I spent a month in Malaysia and went to KL, Malacca, Taman Negara, Cameron Highlands, Penang and the Perhentian Islands. KL is worth a couple of days at least, and the Batu Caves just outside the city are quite good. Taman Negara was my favourite place and is definitely a must-see in my opinion -it was amazing to be in the jungle for a few days. The Cameron highlands are really pretty too and there are some nice walks in the area. The Perhentian Islands have some good beaches but if you're heading North into Thailand afterwards the beaches there are probably better.

I've flown with Malaysian once and they were fine.

ok thanks bex.

some good advice. i fancy langkawi, you been there?

and yes i am heading into northern thailand after but i have been there 4 times before

I haven't been to Langkawi but have heard it's nice. Where are you off to after Malaysia and Thailand?

from malaysia try and see as much of south thailand as i can, all islands then cambodia, vietnam and laos, then some trekking in northern thailand. maybe phillipines and india on the way back.

Sounds great. I've been to all those places apart from the Philippines so let me know if you need any more tips.

thank you :D
