Christmas and New Year in the USA- Solo traveller

Hi all,

Really, there are four major choices (these are my recommendations--in the order given):

(1) Go to a Ski Lodge--like in Stowe, Vermont--or Lake Tahoe (Stateline, Nevada--where there are both casinos and ski resorts), or Vail, Colorado (or Mt. Bachelor in Oregon or Taos, New Mexico, or Jackson, Wyoming). I'd say Lake Tahoe is best for a single traveller.

(2) Go to New York City (lots of stuff to do both over Christmas and New Years)--broadway shows, radio city music hall, rockefeller center, and New Years eve parties

(3) Go to Los Angeles. Not so much to do at Christmas, but there is lots to do on New Year's Eve--like go to parties or to the giant block party on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena (the Rose Parade goes down this road the next morning and people camp out all night and have a giant party while waiting for the parade). You could also drive the 4 hours to Las Vegas for a new Years eve party.

(4) Go to Miami--South Beach. I'm sure this place would be rocking all Christmas week long.

hey mate me n my gf will b in new york over xmas n new years and to be sure we have a good time and meet ppl
