I dont think Tasmania is a great place to find work. There is some there but not as much. Queensland is good. All states you can find work but alot of it is inland and being such big states, that could mean a very long drives inland.
Also, never heard of paying off farmers, and If I did, I would go straight to immigration and screw them over.
Thats one thing thats irritates me. Its the corruption and discrimination involved with seasonal work and travellers. Farmers, contractors and travellers themselves. Especially when a experienced farm worker and citizen like myself who just wants a job, gets rejected for work for a unexperienced immigrant who just pays them off or does a few months work then leaves.
