Hi all,
I am looking to take a holiday in the US in June/ July next year. I have been convicted in New Zealand for possession of a pipe two years ago. I have a NZ passport, but I live in Australia. Does anyone know what the deal is with US entry, will the US check NZ for the conviction if I live in Australia?
This has been asked and answered many times. Here is a you should read. I would send a PM to 'cameraonw' for confirmation. Basically the US does not have your in front of them at the airport.

Thanks vegasmike, I'll message cameronw for a bit more info. I guess my concern is around if I am pulled aside for questioning what is the process they go through to determine whether they should check up on me and if so will they check the country that I live in or the country where my passport was issued (New Zealand)?

I think Cameron answered it best. They don't have your records on their computer. For Canadians, yes, they have your records. OZ, NZ, no.
