Have you tried using twitterfeed or something similar?
(Just a suggestion as someone who tweets and import blog feeds, although the blog in question is not a TP blog)
Yep, as lil_lil says, is probably the way to go at the moment. I do it for several blogs, and it works well. You can also add some standard text to go in front of every tweet, to point out to your followers that it's actually an automated tweet. For example, for the , you'll see that it's pulling in a few different feeds. Here's 4 of the inserted texts we're using:
- Featured TP Photos (shows recently featured photos)
- TP on Twitter (people who mention Travellerspoint on Twitter)
- Featured TP Blogs (recently featured blogs)
- Featured TP Forums (recently featured forums)
- also pull in a feed from our Facebook page, but there's nothing added in front of that one it seems.
Twitterfeed also gives you the option of choosing which url shortener you want to use, if you want to use one. That way you can also track the clicks that actually come from twitter, if that's something you'd be interested in.

It doesn't exist here as far as I am aware, although if you are subscribed to someone's blog in a feed reader, there's a retweet this link at the bottom of each post.
