travelling for a year without a visa

hey all i want to travel in europe for a year without a visa.(im australian)
can anyone tell me were and for how long i have to go outside the shengen countries before i can get back in.

Hey soph,

There's a sticky thread that explains the Schengen visa rules for travelling in Europe at the top of this forum. Maybe you should read it, and then if you still have questions, you can post them back here.

It's pretty simple, really. Australians can travel for 90 days in a 180 day cycle in the countries apart of the Schengen agreement. is a list of the participating countries. So that means, once your 90 days are up, you must leave for another 90 days and then you can re-enter the next day. There isn't a limit to how many times you can do that; just don't overstay.
