Hi travelers, i live in NJ, and i want to go back to Peru in my own boat, i want to buy a sailboat and leave USA to go to my country for ever, i dont know if anyone did before; i have to options :, do it by the east coast or by the west coast?, i was thinking buy the boat here in NJ or Seattle or more closer by texas. But i need any suggestions : Anyone did before, i need a lot of experience in sail boat? spending money in hotel is not gonna be a proble if i sleep in the boat. Food is not problem if i buy the necesary to survive in bad situacions, I just need all the suggestions : rute, how many days , if i need especial visa , because maybe i have to stop in mexico, panama, ecuador, Any news about piratas by the pacific? do i need a gun? thanks.
