huge jungle question, I know

I´m in cusco now and will visit more of peru, brazil, and bolivia.
I´m dying to see jungles - both for the animals which I love, and for the experience of walking in a jungle, seeig survival anf life in the jungle,natives..and I understand that you can´t always have both in the same place - I was told that in rurrenabaque jungles you have the experience but don´t see many animals but in the commercialized pampas there are tons, or it depends if it´s a park-reserve, swamp like the panatanal, or a jungle (kinda confused about that).
anyway, I know there´s iquitos, puerto mal something, and manu in peru, rurrenabaque pampas and madidi in bolivia, and in brazil i heard of panatanal,manuas,mansoish..
I don´t mind visiting two places but I really want to make sure I get to see animals and o get the jungle experience- I prefer walking even though in a boat could be fun for a while.
what do you guys think

Funny, people that I met who had been to Rurrenabaque said the opposite, loads of animals. The thing about seeing animals (from my experience) it's a lot to do with luck. I would personally go to a place that's not just jungle (like the amazon) but a place known for it's high volume of animals and sightings. I went to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini in the north of Argentina and saw an amazing amount of animals simply because the place is so remote. I've heard that the Brazilian Panatanal is the same, animals everywhere.

If you want the jungle experience with the possibility of seeing animals, then Iquitos (Peru) and Leticia (Colombia) have established national parks nearby with various tours both by boat and by land into the jungle.
