I got my visa insurance sim card bank acc and tax file number for €399 from a travel agents in Dublin, it was a grand deal cause its all done for you!!
not too sure where im heading after Perth, but in theory Darwin then Cairnes then down the east coast but im easy going and if that changes so be it!!!

cor thats a well good deal! iv got my working visa and getting my insurance friday,then just flights to book. i want to leave 1st of july sooner if i can,how long are you planning on going for?i think thats the best way to go because its hotter in north australia in july so better to start ther if you like the sun.are you staying in hostels or thought of getting a campervan?probly get to see more and go wherever you want, good to hear from you to x
Im hopen to stay for a year or 2!!I love the campervan idea but dont drive, so id need to find sumbody to share with!! i can cook and make a few sweet cocktails so that will be my imput!!
At first I wanna stay in hostels though, to meet people and find my feet. Then its wherever the road takes me, plans are just made to be broken, so why bother!!!

It sounds like some of you might be wandering through Darwin, so I thought I'd give this a shot!
I'm looking for someone/a small group who feels like going through Kakadu national park for a few days... I am going to be in Darwin from Sept 23rd in the afternoon until the morning of the 27th, and I'd much rather rent a car, drive around and camp out than sit on a tour jeep for several days, which seems to be the only other way to do it! If anyone is interested in camping, hiking, and doing a bit of the boat and nature walk thing for 3 nights (or 2), I'd really love to chat, so lemme know! I like the idea of driving with people much more than alone.
And, I know, too short a time, but I've only got a month and I'm spending most of it with a friend in Perth - hearing about all of the longer trips is making me so jealous!
