Hey,
I arrive in Sydney on the 7th May 2011 on my own. I am then going to travel up the east coast and hopefully pick up work along the way. Looking at doing Oz Experince, they are a bus tour company who cater for backpackers so everyone will be in the same situation

Hello Claire,
Yes, I was looking at the Oz Experience, seems like one of the main programs offered. Where is your destination up the coast? Have you traveled alone before? (sorry for all the questions )
hey neato,
you juz go for it. it will b a nice experience for you in travelling alone you will enjoy it. you should go by bus. this is really a good programme so dont worry and go for it.
Hi Neato24,
No i've not traveled on my own before, so this is all new to be too. I don't have a spcifice destination on the East Coast, possibly somewhere around Ayr as there seems to be a few decent working places there.

Hi Neato
I arrive in Perth on June 17th, where are you hopen to arrive in Oz??
Leona
To Leona -
I'm not 100% sure yet where/when I am arriving. Still have to book my tickets to Taiwan, once that's all planned out I will start really planning the OZ trip. I was pretty much just thinking of flying into Sydney, but I guess there are a lot of places to start my trip! Where are you going to travel to from Perth?
Hey Neato
To be honest Ive heard so many stories about people who make plans, only for them to be tossed out the window as soon as they arrive!! For me Perth is more laid back then Sydney to start, Ideally id like to get to Sydney harbour for new year but what i do, or where i go is completly up in the air!!
On paper ill travel anticlockwise perth, broom, darwin, cairns then down the east coast to Sydney!! Although thats just a rough plan, basically im as flexible as I can be!! All im booking is 3nights in a hostel in Perth and ill take it from there!!
Everybody at home thinks im a bit nutz with my lack of plans
Leona xx
HI Leona,
I took a look at Perth, looks like an awesome place! Yeah, I don't really have much of a plan other than to travel up the east coast as the months get colder. I have never gone on a trip that is not really planned out before either. My friends and family also think I'm crazy (but they are also secretly jealous). We should keep in touch, maybe we will cross paths along the way
