Hey - Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat as myself! I'm 23/f traveling from Toronto to Auckland and will be discovering NZ from anywhere between 6-12 months! Anyone going around the same time? Are you booking any tours like Contiki/ Kiwi Experience or just doing your own thing? Has anyone ever been to NZ before? I'm open to all kinds of work and at some point I'd like to do a farm stay. If you've done one of those give me some details of your experience!

Do you like rugby? planning on seeing a match in the stadium somewhere and have a bit of craic for the NZ matches in a public place, should be an amazing atmosphere there!
i got the WH visa myself so will be looking for jobs too (let me know if you find good jobsites please!)
im not sure if i will be going with one of them prebooked tours, if so, i ll just booked once in NZ as its apparently much cheaper that way.
Btw, will be in toronto for a couple days mid/end may if you wanna hook up before?!

Hey Mel! Thanks for the response! I honestly don't know anything about rugby but I really want to go to a match! I don't know if you've checked out the site but the last I saw, the crazy expensive tix were available. I wanted to see a Canada/NZ match since the BIG one is completely sold out.
Are you hosteling the whole trip? I wanted to work in Auckland at some point, and if I could find a flatmate I would definitely check out that whole scene for like a month or two... because hosteling could get tiring. Did you get your WH visa through SWAP?
I'm definitely up for meeting when you're in TO in May. Where are you from?
