Hi Char, I'm also travelling to Aus solo in October- when would you be looking to find a flat-share? and how long are you going to be in Sydney? Are you working and travelling?
I've stayed in WakeUp and its a great hostel but is pricey. Was $32 a night there. But there are cheaper places nearby. I stayed in one on the other side of central station for around $25 a night but u can get as cheap as $20 or even $15 a night. But remember, you get what you pay for.
I land sept 7th.. doing a week with ultimate oz who put you up in wake up. . I heard it's good.. and bounce is meant to be fun too.. I'm not sure if it's gna be fully booked up and so I'm worrying about booking another week at wake up for after my ultimate oz trip :/
It's easy to book another week whe you are there. Just ask at the start of the week. You'll have lots of fun on ultimate oz
