Dear all,
The fastest way would be to fly from Kolkata to Kathmandu.
If you want to go overland you have to take a bus and train to the border with Nepal. Than after you can entered in Nepal. From the border side to Kathmandu by overland will take approximately 8 hours. I'm pretty sure it takes at least 2 days of traveling overland.
