Buenos Aires - Esteros del Ibera - Foz Iguazu - Rio

For bus trips don't fret. In SA they are very straight forward.

From Bs As you will be able to get a bus to Iguazu that has a full or semi cama. I would suggest spending a little extra for the comfort as the trip will be about 18 hours. The buses are very comfortable however. Food and drinks will be provided on board along with movies.

I would suggest booking the bus a few days in advance. There will be plenty operators.

Same goes for trip from Iguazu to Rio although I think the quality of bus won't be quite a good (that's just personal experience). It was still a god journey however.

Time could be anything up to 24 hours depending on weather etc.

One top tip would be to go to the bus station yourself to organise the trip as you can look at the quality of the operators buses and also get the best prices rather than using an agent who will obviously try to get a good cut from you.

For Esteros del Iberà, travel from BsAs to Mercedes, Corrientes Province. The HI hostel sells organised tours to the park, they're not expensive and it is by far the easiest way to get there. Alternatively, there are minivans leaving to Carlos Pellegrini twice every day. However, seen that accommodation in Carlos is limited, you have to make inquiries as to availability beforehand.

One thing I forgot: take binoculars with you if you're planning to visit Esteros del Iberà. The 'tour operators' in the village (well, the locals who take you along) are not very well-equipped, and many birds tend to keep their distance.
