Intinerary Help: 6 weeks in India, starting in Kolkata

malmn has indicated that this thread is about India

After Delhi you can visit Hardwar, Rishikesh in the north. Thereafter you can visit western area Rajasthan area like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer etc and reach Mumbai. Near Mumbai you can visit Ellora caves located near Aurangabad.
Thereafter you may visit Kerala area and enter Tamilnadu area.
Depending up on your interest you may stay 2days to 4days in each place as it depends from person to person.
Suggest you to refer a guide book so that you can know what interests you and decide number of days in each place.

All the best.
