has been recommended by several people in previous threads. I stayed there 2 years ago and it's clean with friendly staff and in a good location in Mong Kok. It should be as good a place as any to meet other travellers.
Agree with bex76. I stayed at Dragon Hostel 2 years ago after researching accom. recommendations and wasn't disappointed. Management will provide info on all questions. If you require accom. with a big room then expect to pay big bucks.
ill be going to honk kong in june for two nights on my way to oz and wondered how easy it is to get to this hostel from honk kong airport?
You can take Citiflyers airport bus, No. A21, to Dragon Hostel. It is an air-conditioned bus and cost HK$33 per person, you need drop off at 6th stop -- Mong Kok MTR station.
The bus will take about 35 minutes, then walk 5 minutes to Sincere house use elevator to go up to 7/F.
or, If you take taxi, it will cost about HK$300. It takes about 40 minutes.
If u like travelling by train take the Airport express train, which is a dedicated service from the airport to the city centre, u can get down at either Kowloon or Hong Kong Station. Refer to the guide for more details on getting to and from the airport. From Kowloon or Hong Kong you can take a metro to Mong Kong station.

Thanks very much! :D
I'm in Mau Wo on Lantau Island which is a very beautiful place (..make sure to visit) , but the first couple of days I arrived, I had to stay in Kowloon... comparable to an Asian city Manhattan, which can be extremely overwhelming, I feel, especially for a solo traveler.
Please beware of hostels located in CHUNGKING MANSIONS. Although there is a lot of backpacking traffic in that particular area, it is an unstable, unfriendly, and weary environment.
need somewhere to stay in tsim tsam tsui cant find anywhere that is reasonably priced and isnt chung king mansions help please!
