where to spend one last day/night?

laoutlaw has indicated that this thread is about Ireland

If it was me, I'd be flopping down at the airport itself (assuming it was 24 hrs), but I'm a cheapskate.

^ lol... well, if it were me, since I'm a party sort of guy, I would probably go some nearby club and then drink a few and meet some new friends. if the place is famous for food, I would probably get breakfast for it and then head to the airport. I never really liked food they served on planes...

I don't Ennis so well, but, it is the closest place to the Airport where you might actually enjoy your last day/night. Anywhere else is too far and Shannon isn't really a party town... in my humble opinion.

Limerick to Shannon Airport is more or less the same distance as Ennis to Shannon Airport. If you're looking for more activities option, Limerick may be better (but it has been a while since I went to the area, so I can't be more specific).
