Where to start? Dehli/ Nepal/ Lhasa

Im planning a year trip through Asia, and Im not sure where the is the best place to start.
The plan is to travel east across china, and then through se asia.

Well I would say to start in Nepal. From here you can travel down to India and off to Tibet. Depending on where in China it may be a bit far. Nepal is an incredible country and should not be overlooked. If you would like more info on Nepal please let me know, I spent 2 months there. Brent

Thanks Brent,

Could you tell me where the easiest and cheapest place to fly in to Nepal?
Im assuming Kathmandu?
How easy is it to travel from kathamandu across to Lhasa, Tibet? Are there any train routes?

Thanks for you help.

Lucyloo

from where you want to fly kathmandu

There is no railway line between nepal and tibet
In asia no 2 countries are connected through rail This happens in Europe only

Yes the easiest way is to fly into Kathmandu. Then you need to join a tour to go into Tibet which usually results in flying to Lhasa.
