Taking the E-visa route to travel in to Cambodia. Decided from other peoples experience that this can be a good option and saved hassle/ scamming/ overcharging at the border. Anyone else had experience wtih E-visa.
I tried to get an e visa last year when visiting Cambodia, there was a problem with the web site, then I found out that most of the sites were scams, people were not getting their documents through etc.
There is really no problem at the airport, it is very quick. They have set up like a conveyor belt of officials and they all do part of the process and pass your documents down the line, your name is called out at the end.
Can't remember if it was $20 or $25, I think you needed two passport size photos of yourself, I did mine on my computer.
You also have to pay departure tax, I think that was $25.
Purchased e-visa for Cambodia this summer and it worked perfectly.
They have their own lines for e-visa holders and you won't have to fill in the forms there... We found this very simple and helpful.
