photo ID or name in wiki guide

Hi,

Congrats on passing 5000 posts Mike

I have to admit, I've been caught off guard by this from time to time too. The works with either a tag, a photo id or a country name if I recall correctly.

The search engine looks at all the text, including the description and the title, to determine if it matches a certain search criteria. I'm not too familiar how it does this, but Sander (who built that particular part) or Peter will know.

If I'm not mistaken, we look at the tag/photoid/country name in the first case because it speeds up the code a lot. If for every photo we also had to check the title and description, it would really slow things down. I'm pretty sure that's the reason, but Peter will be able to chip in here to confirm or not.

Really there should be some way to specify a lat/long and then let the system pull in all photos within a certain radius. As most featured photos contain a location anyway, that would really be the most accurate I think.
