Hi everyone,

November in much of Europe in 2010 was freezing cold and snowbound in many places but in 2011 it was often just cold and wet. Who knows what the weather will be like in 2012?

10 days is too little time for all those countries. You could easily spend 10 days in London and the surrounding area alone.

I would cut out Switzerland, Belgium and Netherlands. Do London, Paris and a German town.

There are cheap airlines in Europe like Ryanair, etc which should be booked online at least a month early. Accommodation needs to be booked early too. There are a number of sites for budget accommodation, though any accommodation in a capital will not be cheap.

Well the weather might not be great (definitely keep an eye on it- www.wunderground.com) but if you're going to especially touristy places then winter's probably the cheaper time of year to go. Hostels are usually a cheap alternative to hotels.

Ten days really isn't enough time to explore all of those areas and travelling between them could be quite expensive even if you do fly with budget airlines etc. So do some research and find a few places out of those countries that you really want to go and have those as your priorities for the moment. You can always explore the others another time.

Germany- Berlin's very lively and there's always something to do
London- along with the sights of the city centre, Camden's a very unusual place to visit (you can find just about anything there),
