Hi, for a 5 day trip it's not worth going to 3 islands, so better skip Naxos (you wouldn't do much in 1 day anyway).
Mykonos and Santorini are definitely party islands, but also the most expensive so keep that in mind. May would probably be better and also a bit warmer than April, but don't expect lots of people to be around then.
Haven't been there for a while so not too sure about prices, but roughly let's say about 50eur per night for mid-range decent accommodation, about 20-25eur to eat (but could easily be double depending where you go). Going out I would say about 5eur for a beer, close to 10eur for a drink - wouldn't know about cover charges.
(also keep in mind that the above may be a bit conservative estimates)
for ferries you can check out: http://www.greekferries.gr/
visited Poros and it was a DREAM

Thanks for the tips! so what's the ideal duration should i spend if i wanna visit 3 islands?? =) As of now, my plans are still quite flexible so i'm looking at the possibilities
3 islands I would say 10 days minimum, depending on the islands of course. 10 days minimum for those you've mentioned. Greece is usually great in May though from what I remember the sea isn't particularly warm yet. April might be a bit early for it to be lively enough for you.
Hello there,
If you have to choose between April or May then you should definitely choose May.Its the month that Greek Universities are doing their excursions and usually they choose Mykonos or Santorini so you will find many people there and that means that you will find also the shops, the restaurants and many rooms to rent "open" and maybe better prices. Of course you will not see the party island because there are not so many tourist there.
The prices are cheaper in that period but no big difference.
Hi all,
thank you for your advice! Can any of you help me with the route Port Piraeus - Mykonos - Santorini back to Port? I tried searching for ferry timings and prices on Greek Ferries website but i couldn't find any connections for the route i have mentioned on the days i picked which are between 6 - 14 may.
Thank you very much!
