I'm not familiar with Eastern Europe, so this is my recommendation of time for non-Eastern European cities:
Amsterdam: 3-4 days
Berlin: 4-5 days
Vienna: 3-4 days
Salzburg: 1-2 days
Rome: 4-5 days
Florence: 3-4 days
Venice: 1-2 days
Paris: 4-5 days
Umm, there exactly "the Lakes"? All the main lakes in Northern Italy, or just one or two of them?
Also, perhaps you would want to consider Berlin-Budapest-Vienna? It seems a bit awkward if your order is to have Vienna in between Salzburg and Budapest. Or at least there'll be some degree of backtracking. There is a direct night train from Berlin to Budapest.
All in all, 5 weeks is sort of doable but it'll be very tight. You should cut down on some of the places, I'd say by minimum about 3 cities maybe?
