Hi everybody, I will be in mexico for 7 days. Starting my trip from DF, what I should visit?
Mexico!
Highlights in Mexico are the capital city of Mexico City, Monterrey, with its beautiful colonial buildings and Guadalajara. For colonial cities one should visit Oaxaca, Morelia, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Merida in the Yucatan peninsula, among others.
Presuming you will be visiting Mexico City first, here are some sights to see there:
(1) The Pyramids of Teotihuacan
(2) Archeological Museum (one of the world's best)
(3) Chapultepec Castle and Park
(4) Floating gardens of Xochimilco
(5) Guadalupe shrine
(6) Palace of Fine Arts
(7) Zocalo
(8) Zona Rosa
(9) murals on the buildings at the main university campus (south part of town)
(10) Azteca Soccer (Football) Stadium
and close-by, the beautiful city of Cuernavaca

You cannot visit Mexico without doing the 'Copper Canyon'. I'm not an expert on the exact statistics of it, but it's something ten times the size of the Grand Canyon.. I think.
Just checked on Google and different sites vary it in size between 4 and 12 times the size of the Grand Canyon.
All I can say is that I've done both and they're equally stunning and different in so many ways.
Mexico City is mad too. If just for 2 days, if you can, stay there. I believe it's the world's most populated city, but again the statistics vary. I loved it so much and found the people so mad friendly.
