Sounds like an exciting trip, Steph.
I'd recommend checking out Miyajima Island (Ttori Gate) when you go to Hiroshima, partying in Hongdae in Seoul, and checking out the river, bridge, and palace lights at night in Budapest. Haven't been to Stockholm, but been to Goteburg, apparently it's hard to find work in Sweden, because the Swedes are all very good at English, unless you can speak Swedish of course.
It's good that you're saving some $$$ on accommodation, by staying with friends, which certainly adds up!
