I just got back from a consultation from a travel clinic and was basically in utter shock when they quouted me £800 for what I need!
The places I am going to include..
S America
Bolivia
Argintina
Uraguay
Paruguay
Chillie
BrazilS E Asia
Thailand
Bangkok
Singapor
- Cambodia
- Indonsia
- Vietnam
- Laos
The places with stars next to are places im not even sure i will make it to but as I plan to have 4 months in S E Asia I have to look at all aveues! Please can someone tell me where this clinic trying it on (it was private)...

You are going to the regions which contain most deadly diseases. You are also going to one country which contains Yellow Fever which is a vaccination that you require and need to keep and take with you yellow fever certificate to prove you have had it. Without this certificate you may not be allowed to enter some countries after you have left Brazil.
I was up for huge amounts when I went to South America. Probably not as much as 800 pounds but vertainly a fair few hundred dollars.
Do you realise you can probably get most of your shots from your local GP for free? I got all of my shots for free. If you need others (that the GP can't/won't do) then just get those from a clinic.
Remember - travel clinics are in it for the money so often list 'essential' jabs that may not be so essential. Get advice from your GP.
