hi
i am travelling by eurostar next week from london ashford international to brussels belgium and coming back via same route. i have bought the ticket. my ticket says i need to change a train at lille europe in france. this is my first time.. i would like to know a little about this journey if somebody has travelled recently. when you leave london where the customs, passport and immigration takes place, either in uk or in belgium or in both countries. alternately when you come back from belgium where the customs, immigration takes place either in belgium or in uk or in both countries. when you stopover in lille france do you need to change platforms to get belgium train. my waiting time in lille europe is 51 min. thanks for reading my message and answering.
Hi,
I went from St Pancras to Brugge in Belgium at Easter. The customs is at St Pancras going there and Belgium coming back.
If you have 51 mins in Lille then even if you have to change platforms, you'll have plenty of time.
It's pretty easy so you don't need to worry too much about things.
