Was just wondering if anyone could give me any info on traveling from Munich to Split.
Airfares are really pricey and i haven't had much luck with alternative means of travel (bus, train or ferry).
Any help would be much appreciated, cheers
Your best train routes (the bus will take forever) are probably Munchen-Ljubljana or Villach-Zagreb-Split (changing in Ljubljana or Vallach and Zagreb).
A straight through ticket will cost you around €75-95. However, if you get internal (domestic) services and change at the borders - then just walk or get a bus to the 1st stop in the next country, you should be able to do it for less. It's time consuming - especially on quite a long journey like your planned one of over 500 miles, but should save you quite a bit of money.

Budget airline German Wings (on occasion with a change and re-boarding en-route with an Air berlin flight) will do you a fare from Munich to Split. Prices start from around €70, if your dates are flexible.
