hi, i'm in Australia at the moment & plan to make my way to south america sometime mid 2011....just wondering is Rio going to be the cheapest place to fly into...can anyone reccommend a budget airline that operates long distance between the 2 continents...really flexible so it doesn't matter which part of aus i fly out of or which part of SA i land....thx!!
I bought my return ticket from Melbourne to Buenos Aires from STA Travel, it was about $1600. I was pretty happy with that! I think it was a special "youth" fare as I'm under 26.
Student Flights sometimes have really good deals too. Remember to snatch them up fast though, I put a deposit on $1485 flight a while ago and the price increased by $400 overnight! You snooze you lose!
