I did a few years ago. This pretty much The morning was started with a Fijian church service at the hotel - traditional singing and all that. And then santa came by the pool later as you can see. I guess the dinner was themed too. Other than that, not much to report This particular resort (Shangri-La) was astronomically expensive. We were there for a friend's wedding so we stayed a couple of nights and then moved onto other nearby options. I don't recall there being any price-hike for Christmas time.
In general, I'd recommend going to one of the smaller islands rather than spending it on the Viti Levu. The Yasawas or Mamanucas are nice
