hey there guys I'm new to this and new to travelling, I want to go away for 3-4 months over Dec, Jan, Feb and maybe march to Asia, Australian and i think new Zealand too. i haven't done much travelling other than the od family holiday and boys holidays. I'm not very good at organising myself, I've got a few ideas where i want to go but it would be great if any of you guys could give me some advice or some ideas of places to go, i want to get some culture and get a bit off the beaten track, as well as getting some partying in. i want to keep it economical and I want to go at a relaxed pace. well any help/advice would be great.
I think you should start off with a single destination in mind. Australia and NZ are fairly expensive destinations when compared to the developing nations in SE Asia. Most first timers to the region like to start off with someplace easy like Thailand. From there you could explore Indochina, and if you explore the individual countries well, that will eat up most of the 3-4 months.
