I have paid for and been accepted for my NZ WHV, but im a little confused on what it is I have and how i use it?
Yes you are right, I havn't had one for NZ but in Australia you clear immigration first and get your visa second (there is a booth in arrivals next to the baggage carousel).
When you go through check in theyll ask to see your working visa confirmation letter (it is logged against your passport but they ask to see it just to verify incase there is a problem). U dont need to do anything else with it, future employers will probably check that you have the right to work over here and thats it! Dont forget to apply for an IRD number or youll get charged emergency tax at a really high rate!
