hey was just wondering if any1 has traveled with ozintro? im thinking of going with them next year. If anyone has any reviewa on it i would like to here them

Hi Alex, I've had a bit to do with these guys in a commercial sense. Reports back from the customers I've dealt with have all been very good. A great way to start your trip if you want to be part of a group where everythings laid on. If you want control yourself then its not for you.

What's your reason for wanting to use OzIntro?
If you don't use them it's still easy to meet people (in youth hostels) and organise things to do together.
It's easy to set up a bank account in Australia (just show passport within 6 weeks of entry, and have an address), job boards are available in youth hostels and some other places, no hassle with obtaining medicare card (if appropriate) or Tax File Number.
If you want mail holding/forwarding you can get it by itself from some places (or just use poste restante). It's easy enough to book accommodation to begin with before you go.
OzIntro just doesn't seem to be worth the £399 to me, but that would depend on what you were looking for that was unique to them, or unable to do yourself once you've arrived.
