need some advice. Driving through Europe. wish to stay out of the big cities. esp Paris
Would like to find a small village, or whathave that has general safe parking and then
a train or such into Paris. coming into France From Belgium.
any advice greatly appreciated.
'Driving through Europe' is such an open statement.
It's a huge place and the quality of driving (and drivers) varies considerably, depending on where you are.
'Safe Parking' isn't really an option anywhere in Europe. I'm sure your vehicle will be OK if it's locked up and you haven't left your wallet and passport displayed for all to see on the front seat. However, car theft is one of the biggest 'Industries' across the continent.
I have driven to Antwerpen, parked up for a few days and taken the train to Paris - with a couple of nights in Amsterdam en-route. Easy - and the car was still there, untouched when I got back.
