Hi there,
With 3 to 5 days drive time from Toronto in mid-March, you can do one of three trips:
(1) Boston, then Mystic in Connecticut then New York City
(2) New York City, then straight to Washington DC then straight back to Toronto (just one day to spend in each place, since the other days we be spent driving)
(3) Boston via Buffalo/Niagara Falls, then north to Maine, then back through New Hampshire and Vermont cutting back into Canada near Montreal.
