Working holiday for Canada?

Hi there!
Ok I've just come back from my "big trip" around Australia and New Zealand and now I'm thinking about travelling again to Canada! I've heard you can also get a year working holiday visa for here so thought, why not?! I just wondered has anybody done this before? I dont think I'll be going untill sometime next year as I need to save some money first! Does anybody know what the job situation is like over there?

Thanks Terry, that will come in usefull

Hi Sam,

One thing of note is that one of the criteria for applying for the working hol in canada is -

  • be a citizen of the United Kingdom and be able to demonstrate habitual residency (i.e. physically living) in the UK for at least three years directly prior to your application to the IEC

I returned from 12 months in Oz last year and I was thinking of doing Canada next year also but I'll have to look into it a bit more based on the eligibility criteria (or look into ways around it!).

James
