Could some one recommend a nice hotel near town centre. I am after something bit more individual and original I.e no sterile chain hotels. It can be cheap or happy to pay £150 per night. Just want something else that I can find in any other country.
If budget isn't such a problem try . It's a small, well preserved mid 19th century hotel right in the city center; rooms start from about £75/night.
The main places to visit in Bucharest are the old town (the pedestrian neighborhood around Lipscani street, with several landmarks and especially dozens of restaurants, clubs, bars, cafes ), the Palace of Parliament and the Village Museum.
