Hi im a 24 year old Irish girl moving to Sydney in february on my own. Advise please

It would be kool to have more information, so people could advise you better, such as how long you want to
stay in Australia, what purpose you have for going there, such as a working holiday or for a full time employment etc.
Do you plan on only staying in Sydney or travelling around?

Hey perry originally I was planning on going to sydney to stay with a friend and work as a nurse. Unfortunatly my friend has had to return to ireland and i now know no one there. I have a job already waiting and my flight booked so am still planning on going, now im terrified :/

When do you land in Australia and were are you headed first? Me and my fiancée land in Sydney on April the 10th and are in a similar boat to yourself, very nervous!!
A bit off topic but in your previous post you mentioned that you already have a job lined up, just a bit curious as to how you manage to secure a job prior to arrival?
Any tips you could share would be awesome and if you have any questions I will do my best to help out

Hey i land on 28th feb! Im planning on living in Sydney.
Im a qualified nurse so have a job lined up with an agency as they had a jobs fair here a few months back.
There are some pages on fb like 'irish around sydney' where people advertise jobs daily. Maybe check it out.
