Hi I'm planning to go travelling around Italy for about 16 days, starting in Venice and ending up in Sardinia.
Days 7-8: Bologna
Days 9-10: Florence (Pisa)
Days 11-12: Rome
Days 13-14: Naples
Days 15-16: Sardinia
Travel time between these places will take up half a day or more, and on top of that you lose time packing, checking into your accommodation, etc. Plus just being on the road is a tiring experience. It basically means that you'll only have a single worthwhile day at these destinations, which (especially for Rome) isn't nearly enough. I'd either add a week to your itinerary, or cut at least 3 destinations and spread their days over the remaining destinations. Particularly when you don't have experience travelling efficiently, you're way better off travelling well, and seeing places in depth, rather than trying to cram in so much that it'll leave you dazed.
