I'm Taylor... traveling to Australia next month... plan was to go with my best friend... but she is having doubts... so I thought ... if any of you guys could do me a favour.... would you... and I'd buy you all s round or two once I'm there.... make a poster saying..."Melinda .....Australia and Taylor are waiting for you!!!"..... somewhere like a famous landmark... or on the beach... sounds lame I know.... but I love this girl and traveling is exactly what she needs!... so anyone wants to help the course of true love I'd be eternally grateful!.... did I mention that she simply stunning... and single!!..... help me out guys..... Taylor!!.....
My dos centavos... You love her... she looks at you as a friend only... obviously she should have doubts about going to Australia and being trapped with you... either seal the deal and make the relationship happen before you travel, or leave the poor girl alone...

My friend wouldn't come with me either, came out here alone and tbh solo travel is the best thing I have ever done. Don't let her hold you back.

Those are some tough centavos, but I agree.
I did all that I could to convince my sister to come to Europe with me. Booked a flight for myself and I'm doing it without her.
That's hardly a comparable situation, you're not trying to sleep with your sister...

But some people are a lost cause like that. It can take an eternity to convince those that really aren't interested in travel but then it gets to a point where you realise you just have to bite the bullet and make your own way.
She might be dying to travel, but not with a guy who has a crush on her, who knows. I feel for him.
In any case all the comments about solo travel are dead on, especially when travelling to a country that's super easy/simple like Australia. It's not a place that's "foreign" like some areas of the Indian Subcontinent, Africa, etc... Australia is a fabulous destination for a first time nervous traveller.
