Thailand; with a relatively small amount like that, the percentage of it which you'd spend on a transaction fee in Australia would be huge, while I seem to remember there not being any transaction fees at Thai money exchanges.

Well, everytime i would be traveling to another country, I will always exchange the money in the country where the money am holding and is going to exchange. I find it that the exchange rate is a little bit higher. for example, if I will be going to Thailand I will be exhanging some dollars in Thailand and before i leave the country, i would get it back to dollar.s
