Polish 'Golden Summer'

I've heard September is the time of a brief 'golden summer' in Poland. I'm due to be there next week and I'll be traveling really light, so will need to make sure I carry the right clothing with me. There's a possibility I may have to sleep out, so I'm particularly interested in how cold it gets and how much rain to expect overnight as I won't be carrying a tent.

Unfortunately it is rather cold, especially during a night. It is really hard to predict because sometimes it is warm but now we have about 15 C. deg. during a day and about 5 at night :-/ And a lot of rain. Here you can chcek the long term weather forecast: http://www.pogodynka.pl/miasto.php?miasto=Wroc%B3aw&gmina=Wroc%B3aw&powiat=Wroc%B3aw&wojewodztwo=dolno%B6l%B1skie&czas=&model= And I think that sleeping outside is not a good idea without a warm sleeping bag and a tent.

And it is not golden summer but autumn- this is what we say It is about leafs- they are gold falling down from the trees. But it is not now, rather in october and november.

The links are appreciated. I'll be in hostels the first few nights (Wroclaw/Krakow/Wroclaw) and the weekend weather looks fairly clear for starting my way back to the UK - maybe via Berlin even. Depends what rides I get. Thanks.

Yes, staying in a hostel will be better for you because of the weather.

Have a nice trip and a lot of fun, especially in Wroclaw
