hey there im 25 travelling alone im heading to melbourne middle of dec staying in the city centre for a week or so then heading to st kilda for xmas and new year.
wondering if anyone is in the same position going to be there around that time???

I'm flying out to Melbourne early november and will hopefully be living and working in the city for a few months before making my way up the east coast in the new year.
Sydney is probably considered by most to being the place to be during the christmas/new year holidays but Melbourne is an awesome city too so i'm sure it will have plenty to offer. (i'm hoping anyways lol)
i'm counting down the days, really cant wait to get out there.
are you in oz at the moment or are you flying out in december?

I'm stuart, i'm in a similar boat, i land in Melbourne on the 12th December, booked a couple of nights hostel in St Kilda then in South Yarra for a few nights then i'm going to see where i go from there (winging it really). Going totally on my own and never done anything like this before so i am majorly nervous but excited at the same time.
don't really know anyone out there so i'm hoping to meet new people and have a fantastic xmas and NY in the sun.
if you want to meet at all then give me a shout on here and we could meet for a chat whilst over there and share any info.
