London is prob your best and the most obvious option, lots of jobs there and a lot of massive music industries are headquartered there too.
I'm a bit biassed towards the north. You might think about Leeds College of Music or Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
London would be the most obvious choice for reasons mentioned before.
But you can also try other cities too if you want to face less competition.
Totally depends on what type of career in the music industry you want to work in. Bit more info and I may be able to help more.
Manchester ! !
Check out, just as one of many examples....

You'll find accommodation so much cheaper than in London - you'll actually be able to afford your own place, rather than having a share a kitchen and toilet with 5 others at 3 times the price, the musical tuition in the city is as good as any in London and to put the icing on the cake.... The local beers are better ! !
Much though I enjoy living here personally I think London is a bad bet for starting out in music, too many chancers and false starts, every venue is pay-to-play and the whole thing is dead expensive. For vibrant and more accessible I would probably try Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester or Brighton. This isn't advice for classical music BTW, I wouldn't have a clue about that.
You may also like to check out Chethams School of Music in Manchester. It is one of the world's finest and they quite often have volunteer rolls in various areas.
