Just general around the world questions!

Hello, not going into to my details, but i currently lost everything that is going on, therefore im using the what my friends consider the most annoying part of my personality and just buggering off somewhere..

India is always a top choice for people to go find themselves. It has its fill of both the usual and unusual places. Photographically its a gold mine. I describe India as the only place you can open your guest house door in the morning and stand there all day being amazed at everything that passes. You can still find rooms for less than 5pounds a night. And I think you can get cheap flights from the UK.

wow thats so cheap! is there any areas in particular?

im planning to be disappearing for a while.. xx

India can be a tough place to travel in. Break yourself in slowly in toursity places like Manali in the foothills of the himalaya and Goa the beach party spot. Then you can work your way around to all the other gems. Varanasi is a real eye opener. Darjeeling is very different with its more Nepali mix. The list is endless, but like I say its tough going sometimes and will drive you crazy. SOme people just hate it, some love it, then hate it then love it again. A good Russian friend of mine describes it as the alcoholic boyfriend who is so much fun but so bad for you.

haha! that sounds amazing! i just really think its that time to just up and leave you know?

is it better to do with someone or on ur own? xx

I was 19 when I left the Uk. It was pretty tough and I was pretty naive. I was probably lucky that I didn't get myself killed, but then its those experiences that make you what you are. I'd suggest that if you have the nerve to do it, then leave alone. You're never alone long especially a chicka, you'll have your choice of hunky, cute guys to travel with!. Pretty much any place that is mentioned in LP or any other backpacker guide book will have an amount of travelers staying at the "tourist area" and there is always others either traveling alone or in a group that you can tag along with and they will welcome you in. Its great to get into a multi cultural group, it really opens up your horizons and offers opportunities to make life long friends around the world. I prefer traveling like this as then when you want to go somewhere else and the other dont then there's no hard feelings and off you go. Traveling with someone means matching their budget, there personality, their schedule. It starts to compromise your trip too much...but then I've never held a relationship together for longer than a couple of years, so Im not one to comment on compromises! Ok I have to go run an errand, but you can leave ask me other stuff and I'll get back to ya later, as will others here Im sure. xx!

i dont do commitment and i cant hold relationships.. i came back from working in tenerife not that long ago i went lived and worked there for two months and didnt know anyone.. and now im still in touch with the people i lived with!

i just need to live you know?

i think its stupid to just stay in england.. and i hate the part im in, im bored and fed up with waking, eating, working, eating, sleeping just to do it all again, far to adventurous and enthuastic for that! and want to do it before i end up with responibiltes.. i miss what i had in tenerife, not just the heat but the freedom and the fact u dont have to care what anything thinks of you and do anything for anyone else but yourself.. ive cared about everyone else for far too long now.. time for myself >.< not trying to sound selfish!

xx
