putting url (i think!) into blog

how do i link to info on a subject - for example, cholon in HCMC- so that the reader can see the wiki entry, and i don't need to type big explanation... thanks! i KNOW it's possible, but cannot find it!!

There are two ways to add links in your blog entries.

1. If you want to link to a Travellerspoint guide, entry, use the chain icon in the toolbar. That is great if you wanted to put a quick link to the Ho Chi Minh City article for instance. Here's what the code looks like that this button produces [[Ho Chi Minh City]]. And here's the end result:

2. To link to a url on another site, use the other chain icon - the one with the big globe behind it. After you click on it, it will give you a popup where you enter the link. If you are trying to link to the Wikipedia article on Cholon, then you would end up with some code in your blog entry that looks like this: [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cholon,_Ho_Chi_Minh_City|Your text to link here...]]. Change the "Your text to link here.." bit to whatever you want it to say. So I might make that say "click here" or something. Example:

Hope that helps clarify it
