Hi I am a 16 year old guy from the UK. Who wants to take a gap year out after college before I go to university. I really need help on how you start to plan an around the world travel, I also need help on places to go or places to see. And what types of transport shall I use .Thankyou
Backpacking is really easy around southeast asia... just depends how remote you want to and what sort of things your looking to do. transport can and should be arranged when your actually there- your plan will change every morning for sure... even hitch hiking a real easy in the countryside.
Thailand is a great place to start and offers all kinds of things to do. cheap guest houses, diving, hiking, volunteering. Volunteering is a great thing to do and teaching english or conservation work is really rewarding.
