Help on our travel itinerary for Western Europe?

Hello,

More time in London. 3 days in Paris. 2 or 3 days in Barcelona. I found an afternoon ample for Nice so maybe more time elsewhere on the Riviera (consider car hire)? Florence 1 day maybe including a visit to Pisa? Venice 1 or 2 days. Really it depends on you how much time you spend in each place since I'm telling you how much time I would spend there.

Japan and Greece it depends on where you go and what you want to see how much time you spend there. As well as lots to see in London, there are lots of easy days out from there.

As to Frankfurt, I would leave that till the end and see what time you have left.

You of course have to allow for travel time. There are a number of cheap airlines which will get you around quickly but there is getting to the airport, waiting, flying, unloading and getting into the city at the other end which can turn a two hour flight into an eight hour trip. Your "stop over somewhere 3 days" will be swallowed up in travelling time. Trains in some cases can be quicker as they are often city to city.

Possibly you are trying to do too much in a short time? With your schedule you'll be on the go a lot of the time.

You can often book travel online as well as entrances to museums, galleries and other tourist attractions which will save long queues. Some city have tour buses which are a great way of finding your way around a city and hopping on and off at tourist spots. Also use local transport, notably the metro / underground for getting around.

Do be careful of pick pockets (especially kids) as they flock to tourist sites and pick on people with their attention elsewhere.

I think there are too many places that you would want to visit. It might be possible but I don't think you would have enough time to fully enjoy your trip. Why not trim down your list a bit so that you could add some days to other places?
