how long are you allowed to work at one place of work on a working holiday visa. i was told u can only for 6 months then have to change your employer... thats shit.. is it true??
Yes, . If you think that's bad, when I was on a WHV in Australia the limit with any one employer was 3 months.
The rule is there in an attempt to have people honor the intent of this visa, which is for young people to be in Australia primarily to travel around and get to know the country, occasionally working in order to be able to pay for that.
There's already too many people travelling around the world and only using Australia as a fuel-stop, working full-out without seeing anything more of the country than a single city.
